Seamstress (hand stitching) Full or Part-Time

We are seeking a vibrant, creative personality to join our team! We need someone to hand-stitch garments, and machine sew as needed. If you are crafty with a needle and thread and can work as a team, then you may fit in well. Being adept with lace and beading is definitely a plus! Our goal is to make brides and their parties very happy- day in and day out! If you are skilled with a needle and are interesting in putting a smile on our customers faces, then this is the job for you! Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Full Time Benefits (40hrs weekly)

• 1 Week paid sick leave after 3 months of full time employment

• Hand stitch lace
• Hand stitch beads and sequins
• Hand stitch cups into dresses
• Hand stitch temporary stitches
• Record and manage your time spent on jobs
• Work as a team
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines

• Hand stitch hooks and eyes/snaps/buttons etc.
• Keeping our workspaces tidy

• Previous experience sewing by hand is necessary
• Experience with machine sewing is a plus
• Communication skills are very important for our team to thrive
• Being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with quick transitions between projects
• Must be comfortable working with deadlines
• Experience with a variety of fabrics
• Must be able to follow directions
• Creativity encouraged
