Job Summary
As a Technical Talent Search Associate, you will play a crucial role in our talent acquisition process. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and we hope you do!), is to uncover hidden gems in the vast technology landscape. You'll be the Sherlock Holmes of recruiting, using your exceptional investigative skills to identify and engage top-notch candidates who are hiding in the shadows.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research and talent mapping to identify potential candidates in technology-related fields.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques, including social media, online platforms, and networking, to connect with and engage both active and passive candidates.
- Screen resumes and applications to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit for specific roles.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural compatibility.
- Collaborate with our team of experienced recruiters to understand client requirements and provide a qualified pool of candidates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Webster & Webster Associates, promoting our company and culture to prospective candidates.
Qualifications- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development/Engineering or related is preferred but not mandatory. We value knowledge, passion, and results over a piece of paper!
- An understanding of computer and network systems/architecture, technology stack, software development tools, operating systems, etc., is highly beneficial in this role.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals who have a genuine love for fast-paced online research, and connecting with people are the perfect fit for this role.
- General computer proficiency (email, web browsing, social apps, databases, ability to learn new programs).
- Enjoyment reading/analyzing/evaluating online information.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Positive, optimistic, self-motivated attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Dedicated, focused, and strong work ethic.
- No previous sales or recruiting experience is required. We will provide comprehensive training to help you succeed!
