Seeking a skilled Assistant Manager with a winning attitude, strong leadership skills and sharp business mindset for a fast-paced country store located near Winchester, Virginia.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working with the Assistant Manager for everyday operation and to set and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
• Providing strong staff leadership utilizing a lead-by-example approach.
• Performing regular inspections of food and beverage preparation and presentation.
• Maintaining and ensuring compliance to established food quality standards.
• Analyzing consumer behavior to ensure that our location meets and exceeds customer expectations.
• Assuring proper inventory accuracy, flow and stock levels utilizing the POS and coordinating with the Store Manager and Purchasing Coordinator.
• Possessing strong teamwork skills to be able to lead a team and be part of it.

• Acting as a liaison between managers, employees, and customers.
• Diplomatically handling staff and customers

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 years experience working in retail and/or food service and at least 3 of those years in management.
• Proficiencies in communication and time management as it relates to operational objectives and project completion.
• Strong planning and organizational skills to run a streamlined operation.

• Ability to cope under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not mandatory.
