Secondary Market Manager helps develop, manage, and improve a company's secondary mortgage market operations. Leads a team of analysts to ensure timely and accurate work and provides research and solutions to complex questions or tasks. Being a Secondary Market Manager oversees the company's loan purchases and sales on the secondary market and manages mortgage loan portfolios to balance risk. Reviews performance indicators and utilizes economic data and market trends to determine risk. Additionally, Secondary Market Manager maintains relationships with investors, brokers, and originators to identify and develop new leads and opportunities. Essential Functions/major responsibilities:
· Oversees operations and maintenance of all industrial wastewater treatment, sludge processing, handling equipment, pumps, screw presses, blowers, oxidation ditches, and other equipment used to treat wastewater.
· Manages all operators who will prepare the chemicals required for the testing of wastewater, collect samples and makes routine chemical analyses of industrial wastewater at various points in the plant process.
· Monitors all control panels and adjusts valves and gates manually or by remote control to regulate the flow of wastewater through settling, aeration, and other various treatment processes.
· Reads and interprets charts, flow meters, and other gauges to determine operating efficiency of equipment.
· Oversees the maintenance and upkeep of all grounds.
· Maintains logs, records, reports including inventory and purchasing of supplies and materials.
· Oversees the operations and maintenance of both the anaerobic digester and operators of the digester.
· Responsible for training all operators.
Secondary Functions:
· This position will corroborate daily with executive management, engineering, and maintenance departments to ensure continuous, uninterrupted operations is maintained.
· Schedule all major maintenance with the POM maintenance department.
· All other duties as assigned.
Specific Job Skills:
· Organized, punctual, flexible, computer literate, strong communication skills and a problem solver.
· Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant and auxiliary equipment.
· Knowledge of operation with Anaerobic Digesters is preferred.
· Knowledge of laboratory equipment and the procedures involved in testing sludge and effluent.
· Ability to make operating repairs to a wastewater treatment plant and auxiliary equipment.
· Must have the ability to respond quickly to emergencies and maintain favorable public relations.
· Must be able to climb ladders, work in high places and lift more than 50 pounds safely.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· Minimum 4 years’ experience in general construction/ maintenance activities.
· Minimum 4 years’ experience in system controls, wastewater distribution systems, or pressured mechanical systems.
Job Conditions:
· The position will be a combination of field and office work.
· While performing the duties of this job in the field, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions, extreme heat or extreme cold. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock or vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
· Some of the duties of this job will be in a small professional office environment where all staff members are expected to assist one another to meet the Port's needs. The pace is sometimes hectic, with multiple deadlines to meet.
