Secretary to Chief Executive Officer provides administrative support in a variety of functions to the Chief Executive Officer that are focused on increasing the efficiency of the executive. Reviews, prioritizes, directs and delegates a wide variety of complex and confidential requests that are presented to the executive for consideration. Being a Secretary to Chief Executive Officer summarizes, prioritizes, and researches information into a concise and usable format for the executive to review. Responds to or routes priority or confidential inquiries from external or internal sources with correspondence or other messaging on behalf of the executive. Additionally, Secretary to Chief Executive Officer creates or directs creation of reports, charts, budgets and other presentation materials for the executive. Coordinates high level projects, travel arrangements, and meetings. May plan and schedule work and direct other staff to deliver support. Has a broad knowledge and understanding of the company's operations and business objectives. Requires an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to the CEO. The health services that became the Anthony L Jordan Health Corporation (Jordan Health) began more than 100 years ago, in 1904. As one of the first 5 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) established in the nation, its roots are steeped in service to those who face barriers to health and health care, meeting their need for comprehensive medical, dentistry, behavioral health, and community services. Jordan Health is now seeking a Chief Medical Officer who, under the guidance of the Chief Executive Officer, is primarily responsible for leading the medical component of Jordan Health focusing on population health and integration of all health care services in a community health center. To position expansion of Jordan Health’s care programs and ensure the sustainability of exceptional clinical services integrated within Jordan Health’s centers.

Requirements
The Chief Medical Officer will ensure that:
· Targets for clinical capacity and utilization are established and met and the financial success of the clinical program is achieved.
· Clinical outcomes are improved through evidence-based strategies and innovative care approaches.
· Organizational systems and processes support Jordan Health’s strategic direction and operational expectations are achieved.
· The CMO implements programming based on data and the needs of existing patients and the communities served.
· The CMO is regarded as an example of leadership excellence, inspiring commitment in others.
Education And Experience Required:
· Medical Degree with Board certification in an appropriate specialty for community health work
· 5-7 years’ clinical experience to include demonstrated people management experience.
· Master’s Degree in Public Health, Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses And Certifications:
· Unrestricted license to practice medicine in NYS.
· Current provider BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association.
· Infection Control Certification.
· DEA registration
Special Skills, Knowledge Required:
· Knowledge of the principles and practice of modern medicine as related to public health organizations and community health programs as well as current social and economic problems pertaining to public health and their impact on primary health care.
· Cognizance of the prevalent stressors and their impact in both the professional provider and the patient populations in the community health center primary care setting.
· Awareness of pressures, economic and otherwise, from private, public and legislative arenas as they determine the climate in which public health agencies operate.
· Ability to work creatively and collaboratively with other health care professionals from a variety of disciplines to achieve maximum productivity.
· Supervisory control, promoting growth and development of fellow professionals.
