Job Summary:
AID, an Akima, LLC company is seeking experienced plumbers for future openings at Keesler AFB. These are full-time positions at the customer site on Keesler AFB supporting the Keesler AFB BOS contract.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is to direct and coordinate the activities of Asset Management and Customer Support sections ensuring customers’ requirements are met while complying with AFI 23-101, AFH 23-123, AFMAN 23-122 and all other applicable USAF directives and PWS requirements.
This supervisory position requires a thorough knowledge of all sections of base Supply to include all of the following functions: Stock Control, Customer Service, Equipment Management, Document Control, Records Maintenance, Procedures and Analysis, Inspection, Storage and Issue, Repair Cycle, Mobility Readiness Spares Package (MRSP), HAZMAT and Mobility/Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) sections
JOB DUTIES
Oversees day-to-day operations of applicable supply sections
Provides appropriate technical assistance and responses to the shops for awaiting parts status
Ensure Customer Support Liaison shop visits to help with storage and location of assets.
Ensure customer logistics concerns and anticipated problems are resolved in a timely manner.
Ensure stock fund assets are properly researched, identified, tracked, and maintained according to all applicable USAF guidance.
Manage the Equipment Accountability Office ensuring USAF equipment items are authorized, stored, maintained and accounted for in compliance with applicable directives.
Ensure all audible supply documents are reviewed, scanned and correctly processed into the Document Control AIS filing system and maintained for required timeframe.
Responsible for ensuring accurate identification of assets via shelf life, functional checks, suspect items lists, Electrostatic Devices checks, ordering, storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
Manages the MRSP, HPMSK, and Special Spares items. Load, change, or delete kit/package detail records for applicable input format being used.
Oversee the handling of Classified, Hazardous, Cryptologic, and Communication Security assets.
Responsible for ensuring personnel are trained and/or receive on-the-job training as required.
Position is classified as mission essential and requires employee to shelter at work location and to respond to disasters or other contingency operations. May perform other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements along with other related duties as determined by the Supply Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of United States Air Force Base Supply supervisor experience
Proficiency in computer operating systems and other supply database programs required to perform the job (ILS-S, DPAS, D043, G081, LIMSEV, etc.).
Must be a US Citizen with ability to able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics related field
Minimum USAF seven level skill completion (2S07X) or applicable experience required to include inventory, receiving, Storage and Issue and Mobility/ IPE or other supply sections are preferred.
