VIDEO EDITOR: JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

• Video editors are responsible for the general project setup and execution of tutorials, social media videos, and digital content.
• Editing both short- and long-form videos to create inspiring, educational, and promotional content.
• Working with internal brands to create video concepts that support marketing initiatives, campaigns, and promotions.
• Must be able to communicate artistic vision with team members or bring ideas to life with creative directors or producers.
• Work closely with a group of peers to efficiently scale asset suites and collaborate on creative projects.
• Able to accurately estimate timelines and meet deadlines.
• Must be flexible and work well within a fast-paced environment.

Experience

• Proven work experience as a video editor
• Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong recent portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
• Experience with digital cameras and general film production
• Creative mind and storytelling skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
