APG Media of Southern Wisconsin is seeking a full-time, in-person News and Digital Editor to help supervise regional reporting teams, help produce print and e-edition publications and to take the lead in executing our digital news strategy across 15 daily, semi-weekly and weekly publications.
The ideal candidate would have a year or more of demonstrated success managing newsrooms, demonstrated success in leading, motivating and growing reporters to generate high-quality news content, and previous experience in digital news strategy including for web, social media, e-editions and other formats. Rock-solid news and managerial judgment and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment are key.
This would be a management-level position working out of our Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, office and reporting directly to APG Southern Wisconsin’s regional editor in Janesville, Wisconsin.
