The Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports.  Will be required to

reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data as necessary.

NOTE: The Company agrees that this position is eligible to work from home upon Supervisor and HR approval.

Requirements

•  Complete monthly recurring journal entries, as well as manual postings.
•  Assist in reviewing proper GL and profit center coding for accounts payable invoices.
•  Analyze and maintain P&L information for all companies.
•  Monthly review of various accrual and tax entries and bank reconciliations.
•  Main point of contact for setting up new capital expenditure related projects.
•  Assist in providing explanations for all significant month to month deviations in profit centers.
•  Assist with preparation of information/data for external auditors in the annual audit of the financial records.
•  Monitor Balance Sheet Accounts and update reports for accruals and prepaid accounts.
•  Process recurring journal entries for accruals and prepaid accounts.

Skills and Attributes:

•  SAP experience required.
•  Self-starter and motivator.
•  Advanced EXCEL skills required. A strong knowledge of database software is a plus.
•  Must be able to effectively communicate pertinent information to all levels of the organization.
•  Must be able to respond promptly to customer needs and requests for information.
•  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
•  Ability to write reports and general business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers and or customers. 
•  Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Must have good reasoning and Math skills.
•  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where standardization is limited.
•  A wide range of creativity and latitude is expected.
•  Familiar with a variety of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. 
•  Good time management and organizational skills.
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and recommend solutions.  Proven ability to effectively assess and implement continuous improvement techniques. 

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA preferred.
5 or more years' experience in a financial role in a manufacturing organization.

Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location. Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.
