Security Administrator troubleshoots network access problems and implements network security policies and procedures. Ensures network (LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and voice) security access and protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. Being a Security Administrator requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Security Administrator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     You will be a great fit if you

    • Are at least 21 years of age
    • Are able to provide proof of High School diploma, GED or higher education.
    • Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Have a minimum of 1 year security experience
    • Possess a valid Washington State Security License or be willing to obtain one. 2024 SGL costs are $31.05 for fingerprints and $101.00 for the License application.) There is also an unpaid mandatory State SGL class that you will be required to complete.
    • Have effective verbal and written communication skills

    • Ensure the continual safety and security of site staff and visitors
    • Maintain a physical presence, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activity
    • Provide an empathetic approach to managing any escalated persons and situations
    • Write detailed and accurate reports outlining any incidents that occur at your location
    • Positively contribute to the overall experience and atmosphere by providing superior customer care to anyone you interact with
    • Conduct patrols on foot and while driving a company vehicle
    • Walking and standing for long periods of time
    • Engage in high volume public interaction
