Ensures network (LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and voice) security access and protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. Being a Security Administrator requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Security Administrator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
