    Essential Functions (include but not limited to): Serve as the primary signatory for all new hire and renewal airport access badge applications and manage the process from initial application submission, background check clearance, scheduling airport required training, to final issuance of an airport access badge (SIDA badge). Communicate in a clear and professional manner badge holder responsibilities and protocols for all security professionals working with our company at the airport, explain and outline the airport badging process and required steps and expected timeline to all new hire candidates. Maintain accurate records; badges issued, expiration dates while following all airport credentialing policies and procedures. Work with the recruiting and training department to clear and schedule all new hire candidates for company orientation, Aviation Security classroom and on the job field training.

    Main responsibilities (include but not limited to):

    • Greet clients, guests, and visitors with a positive and helpful attitude
    • Work with recruiting department to run weekly hiring events
      • review badging application with candidates
      • inspect and verify validity of identification required
      • prepare candidate files with all pertinent documents completed
      • prepare submit new badge applications in a timely fashion
      • schedule follow up appointments
      • update candidate tracking system with badging process details for each new hire
    • Ensure uniform is issued prior to company training
    • Track eligible candidates and schedule company orientation, Aviation Security classroom training and on the job training
    • Communicate eligibility of new hire candidates to dispatch for prompt addition to the operation roster
    • Answer and direct phone calls- taking care to escalate urgent matters appropriately
    • Ensure compliance with security measures for office access and announce guests appropriately to the person they are requesting to see
    • Maintain the cleanliness and over all organization of all general and shared use spaces within the office (kitchens, conference rooms, training rooms)
    • Manage digital personnel files in HRIS (identification, attendance, and performance counseling)


    Experience & Qualifications:

    • Strong passion for Aviation and/or Security industry
    • A proactive thinker with an outgoing personality who is comfortable speaking in front of groups and interacting with company colleagues and employees.
    • HS Diploma or G.E.D
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
    • Must have great intrapersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at various social levels across many diverse cultures
    • Willing and able to participate in a drug test (either pre-employment or random) with negative results
    • Must be willing to pass a 10-year verifiable background check (employment, education, criminal and personal references)
    • Must have experience working with basic office equipment (copier, scanner, fax, printer)
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
    • Must obtain and maintain throughout course of employment a valid SIDA badge
    • Customer Service experience


    Sensory Requirements
    : must be able to look at computer screens for extended amounts of time. Must have adequate sight with or without the use of corrective lenses; adequate hearing is also required for phone communications.

    Environmental: Indoor office setting


    Mathematical Skills:
    Moderate level mathematical reasoning. The ability to analyze data and review documentation for errors in entry or tabulation.

    Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Skilled in writing grammatically correct industry specific technical content suitable for report writing, legal documentation, and employee notifications. A proactive thinker with an outgoing personality who is comfortable speaking in front of groups and interacting with company colleagues and employees.

    Reasoning Ability:

    • Must understand their role as an administrator, and exhibit sound judgment and decision making as it applies to their responsibility
    • They must have the ability to follow directions and outlined policies and procedures.
    • Must comply with HR, legal, and ethical policies
    • Must include appropriate people in decision making
    • Ability to prioritize effectively
    • Must be able to distinguish and know how to appropriately handle confidential information
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
