• Execute the installation and configuration management of security systems and applications, encompassing policy assessment and compliance tools, network security appliances, and host-based security systems.
• Conduct thorough threat and vulnerability assessments, followed by appropriate remedial actions, to fortify systems against known and potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Administer the security Incident Response program, meticulously evaluating and testing the effectiveness of the IR Plan and coordinating tabletop exercises.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of Security Incidents for management review, collating incident, and event data to generate monthly exceptions and management reports.
• Act as a representative of the CISO office in enterprise assessment and assurance activities, contributing valuable insights and expertise.
• Monitor system logs, related tools, and network traffic for anomalous or suspicious activity, providing recommendations for resolution.
• Report unresolved network security exposures, resource misuse, or noncompliance situations through defined escalation processes.
• Support security audits and related activities, coordinating remediation assignments and documenting exceptions as required.
• Oversee vulnerability management activities, ensuring scheduled vulnerability scans are conducted and collaborating on risk guidance for patch management efforts.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation for security systems and procedures, supporting business units with security risk analysis reports on proposed solutions.
• Collaborate on Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Vendor Management (VM) activities, recommending, scheduling, and/or coordinating the application of security controls in response to security breaches.
• Stay abreast of emerging security and technology trends, researching threats and vulnerabilities to proactively mitigate risks.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Cybersecurity-related field.
• Demonstrated experience of 3-5 years in navigating regulatory compliance and implementing information security management frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS).
• Desired certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), or other relevant professional credentials.

• Technical experience within the financial services sector preferred.
