Security Coordinator administers, coordinates, and evaluates security programs that support the strategy, policies, and standards established for the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Compiles data and analyzes results of audits, inspections, daily logs, and incident reports to assess security vulnerabilities, measure program effectiveness, and identify the need for additional resources. Being a Security Coordinator coordinates any required security clearance processing or investigative research for employees or job candidates with applicable entities. Assists with the development of training, education programs, and communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is prepared for potential security issues, crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Additionally, Security Coordinator monitors communications and stays informed about local, state, provincial, or federal security-related information, directives, and events. May coordinate or assist with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials. Understands law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Security Coordinator work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Security Coordinator typically requires 7+ years of related experience. As a Shift Supervisor, you will provide lead direction at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s). Our Security Officers work closely with our clients and client staff. The right candidate for this highly rewarding job will be professional, motivated, and ready to learn. Previous customer service experience required.
Schedule: 7pm-7am, Saturday-Sunday
Pay: $18/hrThe position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by:
- Performs the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy
- Provides lead direction at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s); acts to ensure that post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that adequate reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations
- Assists in the training of Security Officers and review of post orders • In conjunction with company management or designated company representatives acts to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts
- Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required
- Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities
- Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service

Requirements:
