The Director Security is responsible for the health system security program. This position supervises all of the Security operations within the system to include Trident Medical Center, Summerville Medical Center, Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness, and all free standing emergency departments. One of the primary responsibilities of this position is to cultivate relationships with both security personnel and the hospital, fostering effective communication and mutual understanding regarding the role of security within the hospital and the methods by which they fulfill their responsibilities. This position is also expected to foster a good working relationship with local law enforcement. Identifies areas for improvement for security operations to ensure safety of patients and staff.
