    Essential Job Functions:

    • Enforces company policies/procedures as they apply to the Internal Controls & Indiana Gaming Commission rules/ regulations
    • Prepares reports and Security logs, dispatches Security Officers to assignments as required
    • Monitors fire alarm systems, dispatches appropriate internal contacts and external agencies
    • Escorts checks, tokens, cash, and patrons as directed
    • Collects and transports drop boxes to the storage / holding area
    • Administers first aid when required
    • Fulfill station bill requirements when required
    • Reports all designated activities to the Supervisor/appropriate authority
    • Must be able to patrol the perimeter and entire property
    • May be required to ride a mountain bike style bicycle for a sustained period of time (1-2 hour intervals throughout an 8 hour shift)
    • Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as Tropicana Evansville internal controls, policies and procedures
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs
    • Must be able to work a variety of hours, holidays and weekends Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
    • Must be able to work in an environment with second hand smoke and loud noises
    • Frequently required to sit and occasionally climb, balance, stoop or kneel May be required to perform other duties as assigned
    • Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

    Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Job Summary: Maintain security and safety over the entire facility during assigned shift. Escorts all money transfers through out the riverboat and support facilities. Oversees patron and Team member safety

    Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid Indiana Driver’s License. Must be able to obtain and maintain an Indiana Gaming Commission License.
