ASI is seeking an experienced and proven individual in the Phoenix and surrounding market(s) as a Security Director in the Arizona market!

As the Security Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the region, including oversight of the client portfolio and the security staff within the region. The Security Director supervises and coordinates activities of associates including security training , fire-life safety and maintaining the contracted scope of work in accounts under their book of business.

The Security Director will also:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the market and partner with law enforcement entities to address operational needs
• Develop rapport with client representatives and other relevant partners, by resolving issues and creating employee and customer facing training programs under the guidance of operational company executive
• Train, develop, mentor, and motivate Security Officers to provide quality, consistent service and to ensure all decisions comply with company policy and federal and state regulations
• Participate in the employee onboarding process including new hire interviewing and selection of candidates that meet ASI’s and the client’s required level of qualifications and skills

• At least 10 years of security experience, with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in supervision and leadership required
• Must have a coaching mindset and be a champion of your team
• Clearly and effectively formulate directions for others, effectively conveying expectations and what success looks like
• Build authentic relationships within the organization, with customers, and with the community
• Strong employee and client focus
• Clearly demonstrates sound decision making, and creative problem-solving skills
