The Alarm Response Center (ARC) is the heartbeat of the Allstate Security Industries community, and we are looking for fun individuals who are dependable, full of enthusiasm and able to multitask, to join our close knit group. Our full time dispatchers are on a rotating schedule, with every 3 weeks having 5 days off in a row! We are looking for additional Alarm Response Center Dispatchers to act as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls. There are two shifts available, one evening shift and one overnight shift. Hours for these shifts would be from 3pm-11pm for the evening shift, and 11pm-7am for the overnight overnight, on a rotating schedule - and every few weeks you get 5 days off!
You will address active alarms, troubleshoot with customers, receive service requests, transmit messages and insert account data.
The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency situations. You must be able to multitask as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision.
The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information. You will need to obtain a State License for Alarm Monitoring through the state of Texas.
Responsibilities:
-Receive and Dispatch on active alarms.
-Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information.
-Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
-Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
-Use radio, phone or computer to send emergency responders to appropriate locations.
-Provide technicians with information about accounts and service requests.
-Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of daily tasks, activities and other information.
Must Haves:
-Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods (Google Drive).
-Fast typing with experience in data entry.
-Outstanding phone etiquette.
-Proficient in English (oral and written).
-Ability to stay calm in high stress environments.
-Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
-Active listener with excellent communication skills.
-Interactive social skills.
-Sound judgement and critical thinking.
-High school diploma.
-No Felonies or Class A Misdemeanors.
-Willingness to work weekends, holidays and occasional overtime.

-Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations.
