Position Summary: Security Dispatchers serve as the communications hub of Security Services and is responsible for providing customer service to internal and external customers. Dispatchers effectively gather, record, and disseminate information in support of Security operations as well as customer requests. Must be effective and maintain a professional and calm demeanor in stressful situations. Dispatchers monitor campus fire and burglar alarms and monitor surveillance cameras.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Associates degree, or prior experience with call and incident management software in security environment is preferred
Must be able to speak clearly, listen attentively, and understand English.
The successful candidate must be fully vaccinated and boosted unless they qualify for a religious or medical exemption.
Compensation and Benefits: Pay rate for this position is $18.36 per hour DOE. $.50 per hour shift differential pay for qualifying hours.
