DESCRIPTION OF WORKSecurity Officers are primarily responsible for patrolling the premises to ensure that the facility is kept safe from environmental and security risks.- Maintain surveillance of property by performing security patrols on foot or by vehicle
- Protecting/Monitoring company property against criminal activity and damage
- Providing any needed assistance to customers, employees, or vendors
- Maintaining a clean work environment of the Guard’s office and vehicle
REQUIREMENTSExperience in Security/Law Enforcement is preferred but not required. Retirees are welcome!- Must be a self-motivated individual
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have a good working knowledge of security operations
- Must be available to work flexible hours, which include evenings and weekends
- Must be able to abide by all sanitation protocols
- Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Must practice good judgment, high level of integrity
- Must be proactive; take initiative with minimal supervision
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
