Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Security Guard / Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) position.

Under minimal direct supervision, this role ensures security and safety of the community by patrolling the buildings and grounds and monitoring the gatehouse. During emergency situations, determines nature and extent of illness or injury, or magnitude of the incident, to establish first aid procedures, until further professional assistance can arrive. Administers prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency. Provides support during the evening and night hours for residents and employees.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school education or equivalent
• One year of experience in the security and/or emergency response field
• Active Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification is required
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
