Being a Security Guard II may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. In addition, Security Guard II typically reports to a manager. Working as a Security Guard II typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. May be entry level if some experience in the skill. Uniformed Security Officers needed for Part Time to Full Time positions. These positions consist of the following but are not limited to : Security of Client's property through foot and mobile patrol and monitoring all aspects of security.
Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Control access to client's property through entry control points. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors and premises.
Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds. Candidate will work independently. Candidates for this position must be at least 18 years old and able to meet State of Iowa requirements for Security Guard License including driver license record and criminal background checks.
