2nd Shift 2:00PM - 10:30PM

3rd Shift 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Job Description:

We are looking for a Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer you will assure the Safety/ Security of the hospital facilities, buildings, and grounds. The Officer will protect all employees, patients, visitors, or others from harm. Additionally, you will investigate and submit reports on assaults, thefts, damage to personal and facility property, and manage all related security issues.

Responsibilities/ Duties

• Ensures that the facility is safe. Preforms routine checks/ surveys of interior and exterior areas of the facility. Ensures that specific areas are locked and secures.
• Prepares daily reports and incident reports if any incidents occur.
• Intervenes and/ or assists when potential violence is indicated. Uses proper techniques to alleviate potential violence and assists the staff in properly restraining violent persons when necessary for the safety of the person and staff.
• Identifies potential security issues and takes appropriate action for correction.
• Preforms security services for the staff and investigates security incidents.
• Maintains the operation of all security equipment and reports malfunctioning equipment.
• Able to execute emergency procedures in a crisis involving a disaster situation.
• Able to execute emergency procedure and properly secure the facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
