Security Guard jobs in York, PA

Join our safety and security team at the Ollie's Distribution Center (York, PA), where G-Force employs unarmed security guards to provide inbound/outbound processing for truck shipments.

** The hours for this position are Saturday and Sunday from 10a - 10p. Candidate MUST be available to work BOTH days! **

Employment requires an FBI fingerprinting clearance. Training and company apparel provided.

Responsibilities:

• Know and follow all safety/security protocols set for by G-Force Security Solutions AND Ollie's Distribution Center
• Complete routine safety and security checks of designated facility locations
• Report any facility issues and/or security concerns
• Remain alert and vigilant to all happenings on the site
• Inbound/outbound truck shipment logistics (Guardhouse Guard)
• Maintain the company's reputation with professionalism and legal compliance
• Collaborate with other onsite security guards for effective protection and site coverage

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Proficient computer skills required to check in/out truck shipments efficiently and accurately; Previous experience a PLUS
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields is preferred (but willing to train)
• Be able to reach, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Be able to walk and/or work in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Have reliable transportation to/from work
• Must be able to follow the chain of command
• Satisfactory completion of FBI fingerprinting clearance
• Ability to multitask
• Be a team player, but also possess the skill to work independently
• Must be trustworthy and exhibit confidentiality
• Follow all protocols and procedures that have been set forth by G-Force Security Solutions, LLC, as well as the Ollie's Distribution Center.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift
• Weekends only
