Security Manager implements security strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Conducts regular audits and inspections to assess, identify, and mitigate any security vulnerabilities or gaps. Being a Security Manager trains staff and establishes operational plans for crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Monitors and inspects systems, alarms, and other physical security measures. Additionally, Security Manager participates in education programs and contributes to communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is adequately informed and equipped to manage potential security issues. Engages with local, state, provincial, or federal authorities to keep abreast with all security-related information, directives, and events. Initiates or assists with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials or agencies. Understands law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, security, or related discipline. Typically reports to a director. The Security Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Security Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are looking for a Security Manager for our Denver, Colorado, operations area.



    Pay Information

    $57,000 Per Year

    Exempt position (not eligible for overtime under state law)

    We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Security Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving profitable growth in our security services within a designated geographical area or business segment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify sales opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, and build strong relationships with clients.

    Qualification Requirements
    • Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
    • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
    • In-depth knowledge of security protocols, regulations, and best practices.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong understanding of financial reports and sales metrics.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
    • Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable for achieving sales targets.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Passion for the security industry and a commitment to making the world a safer place.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Security, military, or law enforcement background is preferred.
