Three shifts are available: 1st Shift (6AM to 2PM), 2nd Shift (2PM to 10PM), and 3rd Shift (10PM to 6AM)
Job Title: Security Supervisor
Compensation: $19 to $21.00 per hour, FLSA Non-ExemptReports To: Security Staff Sergeant
Job Summary:
Supervisory Responsibilities:- Trains new security staff.
- Oversees the daily workflow of security staff including security officers and clerks.
- Prepares and conducts training for new hires and current staff including training on workplace searches, drug and alcohol procedures, and related safety and security topics.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors.
- Conducts regular walk-throughs and security inspections for assigned facilities.
- Serves as a liaison to government agencies concerning project security.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record with reliable transportation.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have STRONG computer skills
- Must have a Class D Security Licence and at least two years of Security or Management experience
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Understand both written and verbal communication
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills/Customer Service Skills
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Present a positive and professional image
- Able to work independently
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and setting priorities during the work shift
- Able to use sound judgement in making field leadership decisions
- Ensure field problems are escalated to the Operations Manager in a timely fashion
- Possess the ability to apply common sense knowledge and technical skills to correct problems in the field
- Embody Berman’s values as a highly visible representative of the branch and set high standards for him/her and others
- Possess the ability to train employees to perform tasks
- Clearly and accurately, prepare reports for local office use, upon management discretion
