The Role

The Renewals Specialist focuses on using business and technical skills to manage the renewals sales cycle. They work in close partnership with Sales and Client Success teams to optimize retention, minimize churn risk, and drive increased value to support growth. The Renewals Specialist actively engages with clients to understand requirements, key business outcomes, uncovering roadblocks to proactively manage on-time renewals while maintaining an accurate renewal forecast.

What you'll do

• Develop trusted relationship with clients while ensuring a smooth and efficient renewal of NuHarbor delivered services and solutions
• Proactively prepare renewal quotes for current clients
• Establish a framework and process to track, manage and maximize renewal contracts, implementing automation in the renewal process where possible
• Contact and follow-up with clients and partners to ensure timely renewals
• Complete periodic reporting to internal stakeholders on progress of current contract renewals
• Engage with the sales team when up-sell opportunities are discovered
• Collaborate with Client Success teams to understand realized customer client outcomes and possible needs ahead of renewal activities
• Manage client requests in all areas of renewal
• Prepare forecasts of contract renewal bookings
• Maintain a churn rate less than 3% across the NuHarbor product suite

Your foundation. The requirements for this role:

• Associates Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• In lieu of a degree, two (2) years of experience in a related field are required
• A minimum two years' experience in Renewals, Account Managements, Sales, or similar role with either a software or professional services organization
• Demonstrated financial literacy: familiar with basic financial concepts such as margin, profitability, costing, and contract language

Additional capabilities that will differentiate you for this role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or relate field
• HubSpot or similar CRM experience
• Experience across multiple procurement environments, including State and Local Governments, Healthcare, Financial, and Insurance
• Familiarity with NetSuite
• Experience successfully completing renewals in a partner heavy ecosystem
