SECURITY SUPERVISOR jobs in Tampa, FL

We are looking for a reliable and experienced supervisor to oversee a site of approximately 15 Security Officers. The supervisor will be involved in the day-to-day scheduling and will be the site's first point of contact. We're looking for a candidate who is adaptable with problem-solving skills and the ability to fill in any opening if needed.

Must have Class "D" Security Officer License.

Must have a clean driving record.

Must be available to respond and help with the coverage during emergencies.

This position's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Protect the client's interests within the limits of the facility and protect the lives and property of employees and visitors.
• Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Prepare reports daily as trained and turn them in to the proper contacts.
• Access control duties.
• Monitor and control access to the property as required by post orders.
• Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders.
• Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.

These are permanent assignments to a single site.

Applicants must possess a valid Security Officer D License from the State of Florida. Must also be 21 years of age, a High School graduate or have attained a GED, be a US Citizen or are authorized to work in the US, and successfully pass a pre-hire background and drug screening.

Applicants must have reliable transportation to work and be prepared to be professional at all times.

This position pays $20 per hour, excluding training hours.
