Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This position requires expertise in various medical procedures and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as sonography, CT scans, and other imaging tests
- Conduct triage assessments to determine the urgency of patient needs
- Assist with pain management interventions
- Perform sutures and wound care as needed

Skills:
- Proficient in ICD-9 coding and documentation
- Experience working in an Emergency Room (ER) setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth
- Knowledge of primary care principles and practices
- Ability to perform basic sonography procedures
- Competency in conducting CT scans and interpreting results
- Strong triage skills to prioritize patient needs effectively
- Understanding of behavioral health interventions and support strategies

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in [STATE]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
