The Patient Safety Manager (PSM) is responsible for and manages the BirminghamVeterans Affairs Health Care System's Patient Safety Program under the Office ofQuality, Safety, and Value (QSV).The incumbent is a member of the QSV team andis involved in assessing, delivering and improving the quality, safety, and value ofhealthcare services at BVAHCS.The PSM has responsibility for the development , implementation, and coordination of the Patient Safety Program as outlined by the National Center for Patient Safety (NCPS) on a day to day basis.
