As a convenience store clerk, you are responsible for bagging purchases, greeting the customers as they enter, helping them through the purchase process, upselling merchandise, and thanking the customer as they leave the store, as well as learning propane. You are responsible for the general cleaning duties of your check-out area, which could include tidying the premises, mopping the floor, emptying the trash can, and performing other cleaning activities all while preventing theft and other dangerous situations within the store, should such occur.
