The Support Services Specialist serves as the lead frontliner for overall office administration. The essential functions of the position require the employee to perform his / her duties at the duty station location, Rolling Fork, MS :
Responsible for district office operations during business hours, Monday Friday, , and services the public through in-person contact and via telephone.

Oversees District purchasing needs utilizing a purchase card holder on another unit. Prepares, controls, coordinates, and assembles information for procurement documents.
Processes, tracks and validates budget-related transactions and resolves inconsistencies. Obtains District Ranger approval on all invoices / bills before processing.
Pays invoices / bills within days of receipt.
Distributes documents to appropriate personnel.
