Summary: The Beach Services Attendant position is a labor and customer service intensive position. The Beach Services Attendant is responsible for all beach umbrella, chair and equipment rentals. S/he is responsible for the beach area cleanliness and beach equipment maintenance. The Beach Service Attendant will always conduct him/herself in manner which supports the guiding principles of Perdido Beach Service. Act with the highest ethical standards, treating fellow employees & customers with respect. Focus on Continuous improvement of quality customer service.

$115 a day plus commission and 100% of tips

Essential job FUNCTIONS of a Perdido Beach Service Attendant:

-Setup beach umbrellas and chairs daily

-Break down beach umbrellas and chairs daily

-Rent paddleboards, kayaks and surfboards daily

-Communicate knowledge of area to guests frequently

-Perform litter pickup on beach area daily

-Provide outstanding customer service

-Perform accurate cash handling and accounting duties

-Promote rentals of beach chairs and umbrellas

-Quickly and accurately handle all customer rental requests and payments

-Be alert and aware of weather or other circumstances that may affect patrons or equipment

-Maintain proper working condition of equipment

-Maintain constant awareness of safety issues and reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor

-Act with responsibility toward all company property, supplies and equipment.

-Maintain a professional appearance.

-Follow all Perdido Beach Service dress code standards.

-Associate is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
