Sewer, Hand sews various garments together by hand without the use of machines. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Sewer, Hand is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the rigging and de-rigging of equipment on job sites
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and tankers
- Build and maintain structures and equipment as directed
- Perform horizontal drilling and digging as required
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with the transportation of materials and equipment to and from job sites
- Support the team in various tasks as needed
Skills:
- Experience operating heavy equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and tankers
- Proficient in rigging and de-rigging procedures
- Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
