Are you looking for a 1st shift production position in Johnston County? Our manufacturing partner in Clayton, NC is growing their production team. They are looking to hire several sewers in their production department. Training is available for those with a curious, flexible attitude!
Duties
Use a sewing machine to sew fabric, leather and vinyl covers for chairs, sofas and loveseats.
Match pieces of cut material together and sew with appropriate stitch to produce quality cover.
Demonstrate good initiative for working safely.
Follow instructions given by upholstery manager
Skills and Abilities
Two years of experience in sewing or upholstery is an asset
Ability to stand, bend, twist and pull for extended periods.
Ability to lift materials weighing as much as 50 pounds
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7: 00am to 4: 30pm; Friday 7: 00am to 11: 00am
Ideal candidate will present a resume and undergo an interview in consideration of the opportunity.
Temp-to-perm position
