The Sewing Machine Operator will add value to Superior Recreational Products by maximizing the quality, efficiency, and fulfillment of our products and sewing services.

This position has no supervisory duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work alongside other employees with a solid knowledge of sewing practices and fabric preparation
• Improve the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of production processes through team motivation
• Increase capacity, efficiency, and operational flexibility
• Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
• Commit, practice, and adhere to safety procedures
• High attention to detail
• Proficient in working with fabrics
• Keep all equipment running smoothly
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge running commercial sewing machines with an emphasis on sewing seams, corners, and trims
• Attention to detail
• Desire to work collaboratively with a result driven approach
• Able to communicate effectively and work well with others in a team environment
• Takes personal pride in work, positive mindset
