Carolina Skiff is seeking to hire a full time, experienced seamstress/seamster/sewing machine operator for its manufacturing facility in Waycross, GA.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Sewing marine upholstery sets
· Seat teardown/rebuilding
· Patterning, cutting, sewing and assembly
· Foam/cushion cutting and shaping
· Operate and maintain sewing machines and other equipment in a manufacturing setting
· Fabricate and sew upholstery according to specifications and quality standards
· Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required standards
· Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
· Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
· At least 2 years of experience making patterns, sewing and fabricating upholstery
· Previous experience as a Commercial Sewing Machine Operator
· Proficient in operating sewing machines and other related equipment
· Knowledge of upholstery construction techniques and various fabric types
· Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints and technical drawings
· Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
· Good hand eye coordination and manual dexterity
· Effective communication skills
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team
