Being a Sheriff/Police Chief may also be involved in administrative, financial/budgetary, and operations/labor relations tasks. Requires a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. Additionally, Sheriff/Police Chief typically reports to an elected official. The Sheriff/Police Chief manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. What You'll Do:
As Chief of Staff, you'll be a key member of our executive team, working directly with the company president to drive the execution of our strategic initiatives. Your day-to-day will range from managing complex programs such as international expansion and pricing & packaging analysis, to crafting our quarterly board decks and all-hands materials. You'll participate in strategic planning sessions, work closely with the executive team and wear many hats, acting as a strategic advisor, project manager, and internal consultant across all levels of leadership.

Strategic Execution: Initiate the planning, execution, and delivery of key initiatives, ensuring they align with our company's strategic goals. You'll tackle projects of all sizes, turning vision into action.
Communication Hub: Own the creation of compelling and clear materials for board meetings, company-wide presentations, external stakeholders and more. You will be at the center of information flowing throughout the organization, while interfacing with internal teams, external partners, investors and more. Your knack for storytelling will keep everyone aligned, informed and engaged.
Leadership Liaison: Act as a bridge between the president and other departments; ensuring smooth communication, alignment on priorities and a consistent feedback loop. You’ll have the authority to make decisions as a proxy for the company president when needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with leaders across the company to foster a culture of transparency, efficiency, and shared success. Your ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics will be key.
Partnership and Business Development: Take a proactive role in managing and enhancing existing partner relationships. Your strategic insights will be crucial in identifying areas for growth and ensuring the success of ongoing collaborations. Focus on deepening these partnerships through continuous engagement and alignment with our strategic goals, facilitating a sustainable and mutually beneficial relationship.
