Position Overview

Accurate physical receiving of materials/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control, and insures delivery of materials/product to the proper department.

Essential Job Functions

• Receive product deliveries, record and check quantities and quality of goods received.
• Inspect, accept or reject inbound shipments.
• Communicate with appropriate personnel for product returns/repair.
• Properly input received material into computer system and forward proper documentation to accounts receivable.
• Delivers product to appropriate personnel.
• Work closely with the Quality department.
• Ensure that the area is kept clean and maintained at all times.
• Maintain general housekeeping duties within the department.
• Must comply with company and department rules and procedures.

Requirements

• Knowledge of warehouse and inventory practices
• Skill in organization and attention to detail
• Good Communication skills
• Team oriented and positive attitude
• Good math skills
• Proficiency in computer systems and technology
• Good data entry skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pull of parts and containers
• Must be able to operate pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner
  

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
