CRUISE SHIP ACCOUNTS REPRESENTATIVE

Located in Blaine, Washington, T.C. Trading Company is a business leader in the supply chain and cold storage industry. We provide cold storage, inventory management and distribution, transportation, export/import shipping and Alaska cruise ship logistics. We are a division of ENVISION COLD.  

What are we looking for? 

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who has extensive office experience. This person must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with staff and vendors/clients. Experience working with dedicated accounts a plus and must be comfortable working with MS Word, Google Docs, Excel, and Outlook.  This job position timeline is from Mid-April to November 1, 2024.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.   (Can start earlier or later - flexible)

*Although this job is temporary, it has the potential to move into a permanent position prior to October. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and clerical support to Operations Team
• Input and update orders and customer information into Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Assist with cruise ship dedicated accounts.
• Prepare and clear all cruise ship USDA export documents to enter Canada.
• Responsible for general office responsibilities such as scanning, printing, filing, and emailing documents to customers and inter-office staff. 
• Work closely with USDA inspector and CFIA Officers.
• Provide excellent customer service to assigned vendors via phone, email, and in person.   

Requirements

 Required Qualifications:

• Earned high school diploma/GED 
• Minimum of one year working in a professional office setting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Word, QuickBooks, Outlook, & Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• General office work (data entry, copying, scanning, and filing).
• Answer phone calls and transfer calls on multi-line telephone.
• Attention to detail and can work independently.

Preferred Experience:

• College certificate or degree a plus.
• Knowledge of supply chain industry.

Physical Demands:

• *Warehouse temperature can range from 25-35 degrees.
