Required Skills:

• Able to Tack weld using SMAW, FCAW and Mig 2F, 3F and 4F positions.
• Burning-Oxygen/Propane Burning Torch, carbon arc gauging.
• Can comprehend drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
• Ability to layoff parts for fabrication and assembly
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure accurate dimensions.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform tasks such as cutting and tack welding.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in shipfitting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
