Shipping Clerk jobs in Dallas, TX

Lily of the Desert Nutraceuticals, conveniently located off Corporate Drive in Lewisville, has immediate openings for experienced shipping clerks. This position requires knowledge of standard shipping and receiving protocol, ability to multi-task, and fluency in English. The shipping clerk is directed by the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for supporting the shipment of goods produced as well as goods and supplies received for production purposes. We are sourcing for both daylight and afternoon shifts.

Qualified candidates will possess 2 years direct experience in shipping and receiving as well as demonstrated history of good attendance and adherence to safety standards. This position also requires.

• Experience processing orders through ERP system.
• Familiarity with protocol to contact customers/carriers to schedule appointments or shipments.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to work harmoniously with other employees as a team effort.
• Effective communication skills - both oral and written
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.
• Familiarity with packing slips, BOL's and other forms required by freight carriers.
• Proficient computer skills including MSOffice Suite
• Ability to estimate or calculate weight and/or cost of shipping.
• Knowledgeable in proper packaging methods and requirements
• Familiar with the most common material handling equipment and forklift operation
• Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software.
