The Shipping Documentation Specialist II coordinates the preparation and organization of bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, and required export licenses or compliance documents. Prepares shipping documentation and processes orders. Being a Shipping Documentation Specialist II troubleshoots shipping delays or changes with carriers and communicates to customers. Utilizes enterprise resource planning (ERP) or other systems to record and track all shipping transactions. In addition, Shipping Documentation Specialist II ensures shipping protocols and documentation meet required regulatory requirements for hazardous materials (DOT/HAZMAT) or special handling. Investigates and resolves shipping non-conformance. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Being a Shipping Documentation Specialist II works under moderate supervision. SmartTalent is looking to hire a shipping clerk for a large manufacturing company based in Everett, WA. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in shipping and be able to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis.
PAY: $18 - $20 Depending on experience
LOCATION: Everett, WA
SCHEDULE:
Day Shift: 7am – 330pm Monday - Friday

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Follow all company/department processes and procedures
• Must have Basic computer skills and ability to type & print labels.
• Some experience in Shipping & Receiving preferred
• Ensure customers receive properly packaged, accurate products in a timely manner
• Pulling and packaging of products accurately
• Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.
• Maintain accuracy and organization of inventory.
• Communicate issues in a timely manner and when daily assigned tasks cannot be completed.
• Assemble and fill boxes and other cartoons with items that need to be shipped.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.
• Implement/communicate continuous improvement ideas and suggestions.
• Communicate directly with Supervisor and Lead.
• Support Company goals and policies
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Previous experience in shipping highly desired
