PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma required, with one to two years experience in a production environment with shipping and/or receiving experience preferred. Ability to gain and maintain knowledge of standard operating procedures in the shipping/receiving area. Hands‑on experience with personal computer and general knowledge of system operating mainframe. Must be able to work with forklift and/or pallet jack equipment, scales and chestchire.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds. Noise levels can escalate when certain equipment operating and may be intense or continuous. Necessary to bend, reach, crouch, kneel, stoop on a regular basis throughout the working shift. Must be able to operate pallet jack. Space can be limited at times requiring movement of raw and finished goods, and inadequate lighting in work area. Minimal exposure to warehouse dirt, dust, and fumes or airborne particles. Working with and near moving mechanical parts required. Exposure to occasional extreme heat and cold.
