RESPONSIBILITIES:
Make arrangements for pick-up by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order. Transfer stock to and from trucks.
Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in order to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Understand and follow instructions on factory card.
Understand and practice correct equipment operation.
Operate equipment when necessary.
Unload and loads stock on trucks.
Documents materials loaded on and taken off trucks.
Responsible for shipping orders, forms, inventory tags and counts on materials received or shipped.
Assist the Forklift Operators to balance the workload, organize warehouses, and perform general cleaning.
Report any missing, broken, bent, or worn parts to supervisor or maintenance.
Complete the Forklift inspection form before start of shift and when operating a new forklift. Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED.
1 years' experience as a Clerk.
Qualified to operate a Forklift.
Ability to operate a lift truck and previously attended a driver's safety course.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Clerk in a Shipping environment preferred.
Previous experience in the corrugated industry.
