The Shipping Documentation Specialist II coordinates the preparation and organization of bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, and required export licenses or compliance documents. Prepares shipping documentation and processes orders. Being a Shipping Documentation Specialist II troubleshoots shipping delays or changes with carriers and communicates to customers. Utilizes enterprise resource planning (ERP) or other systems to record and track all shipping transactions. In addition, Shipping Documentation Specialist II ensures shipping protocols and documentation meet required regulatory requirements for hazardous materials (DOT/HAZMAT) or special handling. Investigates and resolves shipping non-conformance. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Being a Shipping Documentation Specialist II works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Working as a Shipping Documentation Specialist II typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification. Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a warehouse in the Sanford area, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk with FEDEX & UPS Experience to join their team! This is a non - climate-controlled facility.
Shipping & Receiving Clerk Job Summary:
1. Pay: $15/hour
2. M-F. 8:30am – 4:30pm
3. Location: Sanford, FL
4. Print FedEx and UPS labels as needed for small parcel shipments using UPS/FedEx, LTL, AND FTL carrier portals.
5. Verify cases labels for outbound daily shipments, place them on pallets.
6. Stretch, wrap, band, and weight pallets using warehouse equipment.
7. Document and verify counts of pulled orders through SAP software on the computer.
8. Pick and Pack orders using SAP guns.
9. Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight.
10. Receives, counts, and records incoming PO’s, products, customer returns, raw and corrugated materials.
11. Put away, restock, and consolidate inventory into assigned bin locations.
12. Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
13. Maintain a clean environment in the warehouse.
14. Interaction- this position will interact closely with Director of Operations, Warehouse supervisor, and Sales support staff.
Shipping & Receiving Clerk Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED is required.
2. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
3. Ability to operate warehouse equipment and various computerized shipping applications in a safe and efficient manner.
4. Strong knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to follow instructions.
5. Self-started, ability to work independently and multitask with minimal supervision.
6. Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and ability to learn SAP.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to maintain constant and consistent communication with Warehouse Manager daily.
