Position Description: Responsible for overseeing shipments and receipt of outgoing and incoming material, parts, and products.

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Handle all aspects of receiving, storage and distribution of all items received from suppliers
• Manage all important documents such as travelers, bills of lading, etc.
• Responsible for scheduling and managing shipments to and from receiving facilities
• Inspect labels, barcodes, and other features of completed orders
• Supports the Quality receiving inspection process; records and checks quantity and quality of goods received
• Investigate and resolve Shipping/Receiving related issues
• Maintain records for all inbound receipts per documented processes as well as non-conforming product, purchase order, or damaged shipments
• Work within and promote established safety and quality standards
• Develop and maintain effective working relationship with peers, supervisor and other staff
• Other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to perform detail-oriented work; attention to detail
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Moderate to advanced computer knowledge with MS Office applications
