Shipping Clerk jobs in Syracuse, NY

Overview: Since 1977, Echelon Supply and Service has been a leading supplier of hoses and hose assemblies for commercial and military applications throughout the world. Echelon is currently seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk to join our team in Liverpool, NY.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize various computer systems to prepare shipments
• Process incoming bills and invoices, assuring accuracy
• Process shipping labels
• Print packing lists for all customer orders
• Utilization and familiarity with UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager and Ground/Air/Int’l shipping
• Assist with other general warehouse duties, as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
• Prior experience with freight/LTL preferred, but not required
• Prior warehouse experience, preferably with materials shipping
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
• Strong work ethic and effective communication skills
• Computer savvy, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and follow specific work instructions
