Required skills

• Skill and ability to read written material used in the completion of job responsibilities
• Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Operate a variety of warehouse equipment – forklifts, pallet jack, hand trucks for over 50lb packages and items.
• Detail oriented
• Ability to use power tools and nail gun to crate up freight shipments
• Computer skills to create shipping labels and bill of ladings

Job Responsibilities

• Package all outgoing shipments safely, and efficiently
• Responsible for activity in warehouse, loading dock, and delivery
• Receive product and put-away efficient and damage free
• Follow up on inbound & outbound small package shipments
• Accurate completion of all shipping, receiving, loading, delivery and transfer paperwork – Pick slips, Bill of Ladings, Shipping notices, etc.
• Inspect labels, barcodes, and other features of completed orders
• Do visual check for damage
• Report all damage, shortages, or other exceptions immediately
• Resolve delivery, customer service or inventory issues effectively
• Use teamwork to resolve inventory, shipping and receiving questions
• Review inventory space requirements and make recommendations to maintain inbound & outbound efficiency
• Identify and optimize inventory locations
• Participate in the inventory management and inventory control processes
• Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
• Collaborate with Admin and manager to optimize processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
