Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Operate warehouse equipment such as lift trucks to pick, pack, and load/unload shipments
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate inventory management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols at all times
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliations as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse environment preferred
- Familiarity with order packing and shipping processes
- Ability to operate lift trucks or other material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
